Superiority and Equality

I am supposed to write about a group discussion we had in class about Superiority and Equality. Even though we discussed this topic in a workplace setting between a management role and a simple employee, I will be talking about Superiority and Equality between genders. Throughout history of humankind, men have always been treated differently from women, more specifically they have always been superior to the opposite gender. And women being the inferior ones, have always aroused defensiveness in all aspects of life. Having superiority gives you power and makes you forget how the other person might feel from your comments or actions. The world has treated men superior from women, as they are more capable to make decisions and be successful. This approach has brought fear and has silenced women. They were forced to believe that men are actually better than them. And this is the ignorance of humankind. God has make human in his image and each and everyone is as much as different also equal to one another. However, nowadays this distinction between genders is improving. The majority of people have come to terms and agree that men and women have equal rights. Men have started to change the mentality that they are better and have accepted the fact that women can also be successful and make better decisions than them. Slowly, the society is changing from men's superiority to gender equality.
