What do you do when life gives you lemons?

Updated: Apr 9, 2021

What do you do when life gives you lemons?

If you’re like me who loves shoes, you celebrate. Nominated 4 times in a row for Women’s Fashion Brand of the Year and sporting an annual Innovation Award, Lemon Jelly provides more than just good looks, allowing you to live life to the fullest with citrus-scented, outfit-enhancing waterproof shoes and rain boots that make us wish rainy days were here to stay.

The reason why I love this brand so much is for a couple of features it has:

  1. The best feature that these shoes have is that they smell like lemon. Why make them just beautiful when you can make them unforgettable? Even if you wash them they will still smell like lemon. Isn't that great?

  2. They are locally manufactured in Portugal. The company believes in a sustainable fashion world, a world where the fashion business contributes to an evolving planet and better working conditions. For this reason, they have decided to keep their manufacture local as a way to truly support the “Made in Portugal” label, fighting everyday to build a sustainable industrial project.

3. As an animal lover, I really love those brands that are cruelty-free and vegan. And Lemon Jelly is 100% vegan!!!!

4. The company cares for the environment and has social responsibility. One of the biggest steps towards the environmental sustainability of their industrial project was the installation of 900 solar panels. In addition to the solar panels installed, contracts with clean energy providers were established and today they operate with 100% renewable electrical energy.

Wait there is more.......

5. In order to reduce waste, they made a whole new collection of shoes with recyclable materials.

Next time you want to buy a new pair of waterproof rainy boots, buy Lemon Jelly. Not only are you buying high quality and fashionable boots but you are also supporting a company that cares for the animals, the environment and people.
