Did we just become best friends?

One of the Principles of Persuasion is the one of Liking. People tend to say "yes" faster if they like you and your ideas are similar to theirs. Having something in common is proven to be an important factor that plays a big role when trying to persuade. If you do not believe me then believe Abraham Lincoln because he has said that if you want to win a man over to your ideas, first make him your friend. ( I might have just used the principle of Authority too lol)
